He was 74. He is the son of late Albert DiGinto, Sr. and Frances Recchilongo DiGinto. Alby was a 1967 graduate of Great Valley High School and a graduate of Brandywine College. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 Years, Joanne Arena DiGinto, brother Dennis (Tracy) DiGinto, sister Rosanne (Ashley) Sharpless and 6 loving nieces and nephews. He retired from his position with Management Assistance Corp. in 2013.
Alby had two passions in his life, cooking and reading. He enjoyed relaxing with a good book at home or poolside in Florida. His love of books started at an early age when he spent numerous hours at the Paoli Library, breaking only to have lunch at the Paoli News Agency.
He grew up in Malvern in a time when small town charm was treasured by his family and friends. He often stated that he had a wonderful life and was "One Lucky Dude" with a wonderful marriage and family.
In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations to The Black Cat Cafe owned and operated by PALS (www.palspets.org), a 501c3 pet rescue.
A visitation for Albert will be held on Sunday September 8, 2024 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am followed by a Memorial Service at Alleva Funeral Home, Inc. 1724 E. Lancaster Ave., Paoli, PA
