Liz is survived by her husband, David Lacher; children: Tylor Copeland, Nolan Copeland; stepchildren, Austin Lacher, and Cory Lacher; and mother, Linda Powers, all of Riverside.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Clint Powers.
Liz was a 1999 graduate of Ramona High School, where she was a part of the cheerleading squad and student government. She then went on to earn her Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, and teaching credential from Cal Baptist University before starting her career as a beloved teacher. Liz taught at several schools in the Inland Empire area, including Buena Vista Elementary, JFK Elementary and Springs Charter School before working in administration and helping enhance the district's testing protocols and process. Since the birth of her son, Tylor, Liz' world has revolved around her boys. Liz was a girly-girl at heart but quickly embraced all things "boy", from baseball to camping, as a true "boy mom". We find comfort in knowing that Liz' angelic spirit will live on.
A Celebration of life will be held at 10 am on Friday, March 5th at The Grove Church in Riverside.
