Richard “Dick” Kosloski passed away on November 11, 2021 at the age of 86. He is survived by his bride of 68 years, Linda Kosloski. He is also survived by his children; Vickie (Al) Ozanich and Michael (Veronica Shanks) Kosloski; 4 Grandchildren: Amie Long, Amber (Mitch) Gesselman, Sara (Rob) Lake, Scott (Alison) Trybe; and 9 great grandchildren.
He was the youngest of 15 children and grew up on Lansing’s north side, Valley Farms. He graduated from Eastern High School in Lansing, Michigan in 1953 where he lettered in baseball and football. Dick was an avid golfer, softball player and Michigan State fan. He loved to play the bass with his brothers in the “family band” and did so for most of his life. Dick and Linda loved to travel. They visited all 50 states including Hawaii 3 times, as well as going on 28 cruises. He always had a smile on his face and a song to sing. He was affectionally known as “Bumpa” to all that knew him best.
A celebration of his life will take place at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 549 E. Mt. Hope, Lansing, MI 48910 on November 26, 2021 at 12:00pm. The family will receive visitors from 10:30am – 12:00pm.
