Missy and David,
I just learned of Rick's passing.  I know it was sudden and that Rick and David were very close.  I knew Rick and was friendly with him in our teen and preteen years.  I'm deeply sorry for your loss.

I lived across the street from the Margolis family on Walnut Hill Rd. Ricky and I grew up together before he went to Chesire Academy where my brother went as well.Ihaveso many memories of our childhood . Our parents were quite friendly and David was at school most of the time.My sympathy to the entire family we had many memories together as kids, Naomi Grossman Wainer.

How do you look at the life of a man and say his was a good life? I did not know Richard A Margolis well enough to make such a judgement . But there is a way to judge. I look at the people I do know. Some better than others. I could see the love in the eyes of his grandchildren, the look of love from his daughters, the love and devotion from his wife, the respect and love from his son-in-law Todd. Those not mentioned but equally important only add to his stature. That is the true measure of a mans life on earth. These are the people who will keep Richard Margolis alive even after passing on. Alive in conversation. Alive in the memories that bring laughter. Alive always in the hearts and minds of friends and family. The flesh is gone but the soul lives on. Always lives on. The Finkelstein family extends our condolences.
