Sue is survived by her daughter and only child, Kelli Pauwels, and her husband David and her two granddaughters Ashlynn and Addison.
Brother JR and wife Carolyn Camerer; Brother Ted and wife Gerri Camerer. Sister-in-laws Vivian and Geraldine Camerer. Sister-in-laws Mary Nadeau and Pauline “Snookie” Wilmot along with many nieces and nephews.
Sue was born in Granby, Missouri on January 22, 1937. She moved from the family farm in Seneca, Missouri to Memphis, Tennessee in 1957. Sue met and married the love of her life Sam while living in Memphis. After marriage, they lived in Nashua, New Hampshire for several years before settling in Palm Bay, Florida in 1979.
Sue worked at Harris Corporation as a Quality Control Lead for 25 years before retiring in 1997.
In her retirement years, Sue enjoyed traveling, bowling, going to lunch with friends, working in her yard, and loved helping animals, especially homeless cats in her neighborhood.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Blake at Viera for welcoming Sue to their community over the last year. Another heart felt thank you goes out to the hospital staff at Viera Hospital for their compassionate care of Sue and the family.
As Sue embarks on her eternal journey, we find comfort in the belief that she is at peace, in a place of eternal light and love. Farewell, Sue, until we meet again in God's embrace.
Family and friends are welcome to attend the graveside service for Sue that will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
