Samuel Jones

The death is announced of Samuel Jones aka Dennis Jones of Palm Bay, Florida and formerly of Industry Front, East Coast Demerara, Guyana. Sam was born on October 19, 1948 and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 27, 2023.

Sam is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-one years, Koreen Jones (nee Wong), his children: Michael and Jessica Jones , Michelle and Gareth Haddow, Marcelle and Aggrey Linton and Nicole James. His grandchildren: Giana, Charlotte, Jazmine, Junia, Jordan, Daniel, Abigail, Rasheed and Sabrina. He was predeceased by his daughter, Marisa Jones and his grandson, Jaden Linton.

Sam was the son of the late William and Zahuran Jones. The brother of Rosalin Deonarine (Hardat), the late Gulshair Khan (Neshaw), Pearl D’Andrade, Kameil Khan (Marie-Jose), Louisa Jones, the late Donna Jones and the late Nowsheer Khan. He was the brother-in-law of Fabiola Wong, Joan Westmass, and Paulette Yhap.

He was the cousin of Francis Jones and many others.Sam was the loving uncle of Collin, Polly, Yasmin, Adrian, Emily, Prak, Michelle Belle, Pinky and many, many others. Friend of Basant aka Jago, Philip, Dru aka Rudy, and many, many more who experienced his humor and love.
