Born on May 20, 1945, in Philadelphia, PA, Ruth was the daughter of Francis J and Beatrice Buddle.
As a mother, Ruth was the epitome of hard work and unconditional love. She poured her heart and soul into raising her two children, Jim, and Arlene, instilling in them the values of kindness, compassion, and perseverance. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
She was a printer by trade and loved her career in the printing factory. In her later years, Ruth was a cashier at Shopper’s Food Warehouse in Rockville, MD where she was a kind face and beautiful smile to all who came through her lane. She loved Rose gardening, painting, and collecting angels. She took pride in helping her family whenever she could and was a kind shoulder when needed.
Ruth leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished forever by her children, Jim, and Arlene; her grandchildren, Paige, Jaron, Brandon, Travis, and Rachel; Her great granddaughter, Paisley and was awaiting the arrival of great grandson, Jackson. She is survived by her brother, John "Jack", and a large following of friends and past coworkers.
Though she may no longer walk among us, Ruth’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love of those who adored her.
