I’ve been trying to find the words. Rich was my person. We spoke every single day, about the good, and the bad. He was kind, and gentle, but knew how to talk my head back on straight when I was having a day; as I think I was able to do with him. We bonded several years ago very quickly over cars, the gym, and our identical humor. We’d share funny videos or memes multiple times a day just to put a smile on each other’s faces. I can’t stop rereading our messages. I hear them in his voice. I hear his laugh. I see his face, his eyes, his smile, that yellow Dixon flannel shirt that he loved so much. He made it a point to tell me just how much I meant to him and how much he loved me days before his precious life was taken. I didn’t know then, just how how much I needed those messages. He meant everything to me, and he knew that. I reread them several times per day. My favorite is set as my Lock Screen on my phone, which is the one I share with you. He didn’t leave us. He’s here, around us ♥️ always. His love forever shines. See you later, my Dear; I love you.

My husband used to work with Rich at the dealership.  4 years ago my husband and I opened a hair salon and since then my husband Patrick has been Rich’s barber. Patrick considered Rich a very good friend.  He did not realize how good of a friend he was until he passed.  Every time Rich came into the salon he would give me a pound or a hug and say wussup Ma! How ya feeling? How’s the kids?  I am so deeply saddened to hear of his passing.  My husband got to cut his hair the Friday before his accident and I am so sad I left work early and did not get one more chance to give him a hug! I hope he knew how much he meant to us! Rich was the best of the best! Such a kind soul!! My heart hurts for your family! You are all in our thoughts and prayers!  Rich will be missed so much!!! 

Richard, you always had a smile on your face and treated everyone with the upmost respect. Enjoyed sharing stories and had many lol moments. You will be missed my friend, but not forgotten. Rest now brother…much love.

Everyone is going to miss you Rich. It was such a joy knowing you at the Mercedes dealership. I remember picking you up in the shuttle in the employee lot. I looked for your GTI every morning to make you sure I wouldnt miss you. You were so funny and you made me laugh when I was having a bad day. You always gave me advice on modifications to my car. You was so sweet. God needed another Angel and I will definitely see you again sweetie.

Rich was the most giving person!He was always there to lend a hand & help anyone!
 I miss my morning hugs!
 He's the same age as my youngest daughter , so I thought of him as another one of my kids. 
He helped my oldest daughter move one day because my husband & I had to work that day! Its so hard knowing that he won't be at work everyday! I'll miss you so very much!
 But God must have needed another angel, & he couldn't have chosen better! I love you Rich! In my heart forever!!!!  


Richard, my cousin. I remembered we use to go to the all you can eat pandarosa and eat 5 plates minimum, get the party started by getting on the dance floor together and dancing to get people to get up and party at my cousins wedding. Or the nights we hanged out and just freestyle to some classic hip hop. Man we use to really have some great times together. So sad and still shocked you're gone but you'll never be forgotten. We'll meet up one day at the crossroads but for now I know you're in heaven with great company! As always cuz you're loved and definitely will be missed. We love you man!

I remember you when we lived  in Union.  You were so young  and went to school with my grandson Kevin and then you moved to The shore  and my grandson Kevin moved to Beachwood and I moved to Toms River   I remember my grandson bringing  you to my home and  he said grandma you know who this is and I said no.  He said it’s Richie from Union he was so happy to find you.   It just breaks our hearts this is such a shock.  You will always live in our hearts.  May you Rest In Peace we love you Richie.   Gone to young and never forgotten.

Rich and I worked together for almost a decade. He always had a positive attitude and a smile. Every time we would cross paths at work, he would give me a high five and ask how I was doing. I’d usually reply “so great” in a mildly sarcastic tone  with a smirk. He’d stop, look me directly in the eyes, and say “are you really?”. He always had good music playing at his desk and the morning before he passed, he was listening to Underoath while I came in to check on an ordered part. As I was mumbling the words to the song, I soon came to the realization that Matt and Rich probably didn’t care to hear me sing lol later that morning, I was texting a customer and walking slowly through the Porsche shop to the back door. As the door sensed I was approaching, it shot up at lightning speed. I looked up from my phone and saw Rich leaving for lunch on his motorcycle. We both gave each other a smile and head nod. I had no idea that would be the last time I’d see him. I am SO incredibly thankful that God put me in the right place and the right time to say goodbye. I’ll miss you Rich! 

Rich was one of my best friends and I always felt like he was my older brother and kept me in line and always there to give me advice. 

We laughed together so much and I will never forget the good memories. 

I Love you buddy ride safe up there !
