Millie Smith

Millie was born in Augusta, Georgia on March 16, 1931. She married Iowa Pierce Smith on June 17, 1951 and moved to East Central Florida in 1965. Millie was a school teacher for 45 years and one of her greatest joys was watching, listening to, and interacting with children.

Millie is survived by her husband, Iowa and her brother, Bob Street ; three children: Elizabeth Hatch, Kenneth (wife, Kelly), and David (wife, Stephanie); five grandchildren: William Diehl (wife, Christine), Michael Diehl (wife, Christiana), Julie Seibert (husband, Chris), Kevan, and Kyler; six great-grandchildren: Kathleen Silwanicz (husband, Bryan), Jillian Diehl, Amber Diehl, Allison Diehl, Colon Smith, and Emma Seibert; and one great-great grandchild, Madalyn Diehl. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, John and Marie Street; her brother, John; and her son-in-law, John Hatch.

Services will be held at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Badcock Street SE, Palm Bay, Florida 32909 at 1pm on Sunday, July 14, 2019.
