Born in Montclair, NJ, Mike moved to Palm Bay in 2004 from West Virginia, and was employed by the Majors Golf Course, Houston Organization (McDonald’s), and most recently employed by Melbourne Regional Medical Center where he worked in Environmental Services. Mike was a graduate of Choctawhatchee High School in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
He is survived by his partner Wendy Giuliano and nine stepchildren: Andriana Giuliano (partner Carlos Santana; children Vivianna Lugo and Winona Santana), Lorainna (husband Brandon Majors; children Violet and Luna), Nicholas Giuliano, Antonia Giuliano, Victoria Giuliano (partner Nick Hanley), Michael Giuliano, Joseph Giuliano, Veronica Giuliano, and Gianni Giuliano. Mike is also survived by brother Fred Spano (Charlotte, NC), sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Oliver Rhodes (Palm Bay, FL), brother Brian Spano (Woodlawn Park, NJ), stepmother Maureen Spano (née Rutledge) (Woodlawn Park, NJ), sister and brother-in-law Kathryn and Henry Manger (West Milford, NJ), sister Elizabeth Pallotto (Wayne, NJ), brother and sister-in-law Robert and Anna Cigol (Kinnelon, NJ), sister Colleen Shaw and her life partner John Seneca (Wayne, NJ), and brother and sister-in-law Michael and Jacqueline Cigol (Doylestown, PA), as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his father Fred S. Spano, his sister Dawn M. Spano, his mother Rosalie M. Cigol (née Durning), and his stepfather Robert L. Cigol, Jr.
