Born in Poland, be immigrated to the United States in 1948. He attended Don Bosco High School in Ramsey, NJ. Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. and graduated from the University of St. Jerome in Kitchnor, Ontario Canada.
He undertook theological studies at SS Cyril & Methodius Seminary at Orchard lake, Michigan. Father Bobor was ordained for the Diocese of Camden, NJ on May 25, 1963.
Father Bober served his flock in various New Jersey parishes, as St. Agnes, Blackwood, St Joseph, Camden, St. John Collingswood, St. Cecilia, Pennsauken, Assumption Atco, SS Peter and Paul, Turnersville, St. Gregory, Magndia, St. John the Baptist, Camden, Somers Point and Our Lady of the Lakes and Collings Lakes.
Upon his retirement Father Bober had relocated to Palm Bay, Florida. He assisted various parishes in the Orlando Dioceses including St. Luke’s, St. Sebastian, St. Josephs and Immaculate Conception.
He leaves behind his sisters, Olga Vance of Bethlehem, PA., Teresa Carfagno of Weddington, NC. brother Alexander of Cranford, NJ., and Nieces and Nephews.
At the family’s request, the burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity or a memorial Mass in Fr. Bober’s Honor.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church with visitation an hour before the Mass.
