Leonard Thomas Davis, 89 of Micco, Florida and formerly of Salisbury, Maryland passed away peacefully away on April 7, 2024. Lenny, as he liked to be called, was born and raised in Delmar, Delaware and later Salisbury, Maryland where he graduated from Wicomico High School in 1952.
Lenny retired from the Florida Power and Light Company after thirty-five years of reading meters and eventually becoming Supervisor of the Hollywood, Florida office. He also served in the Rotary Club on behalf of the company, attending many seminars around the country.
For many years while living in south Florida, Lenny was an avid golfer, bowler and racquetball player. After retiring, he and his wife moved to VIP Island on the Intercoastal of Brevard County where they enjoyed several years of island life with good friends and family playing endless games or horseshoes and going line dancing. One of Lenny's greatest passions in life was his love of music. He played trombone in his early years, even forming his own combo band and later playing organ and keyboard for family and friends. He often said there was always a song playing in his mind.
