Celebrating the life of Larry William Lapolice (November 30, 1941 – February 7, 2014) He departed this life for eternal rest on February 7, 2014 at Palm Bay Hospital. Larry was born in Kansas, joined the navy at an early age and served in the Vietnam War. After serving four years in the Navy, four years in the Coast Guard, and twelve years with the National Guard; where he retired while still working as a police officer for the Renville, Minnesota Police Department. He always found time to be with his loving family and friends.
Larry’s lifetime was filled with a list of organizations that he belonged to such as the Orioles Fraternal Order, Eagles, Moose Lodge, American Legion Post 81, American Legion Riders, VFW, and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle whenever he got a chance, and spending his time getting to know his friends. He never met a stranger. He was also an active member of the Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
Larry will be dearly missed by his loving wife of forty six years Lois Lapolice; his son Lonnie (Karena) Lapolice of Big Lake, MN; and their two children Elizabeth and Dillain; and his daughter Lori Lapolice of Gurnee, Illinois. Memorial Services will be held February 11, 2014 at 6:00 pm at Fountainhead Funeral Home Chapel.
