Born in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of Mary Field, Dewey Willis, and step father Jack Field. He attended Creel Elementary, Central Jr High school, and graduated from Melbourne High School, as well as Brevard Community College, with an Associate Degree. After 43 years of business, he retired from Pepsi Cola Company and was employed 40+ years at the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, working as a Commander.
He was a Chaplain for the Fourth Watch Motorcycle Club and played an exceptional role in founding the Mounted Posse Unit with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. He enjoyed riding his Harley, air boating, and spending time at home with family. He will be remembered as always being a mentor and a leader, always being there when you need him, never giving up, and his determination to accomplish anything that he put his mind to.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Willis, his 2 brothers, Dennis Willis and Ray Willis, 3 children, Kenneth Willis Jr, Angela Batcher, Kimberly Rossi and her husband Stephen Rossi Jr, 10 grandchildren, Chase Willis (30), Dalton Juba (25), Megan Willis (16), Payton Willis (11), Emily Rossi (17), Sarah Rossi (14), Ella Rossi (11), Kaiden Batcher (11), Gaige Batcher (9), Wyatt Batcher (8), 3 great grandchildren, Laila Willis (8), Lily Willis (7), and Brantley Juba (3) and his horse Sneaky. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Field, father, Dewey Willis, step father Jack Field, and sister Kathy Willis.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 1:00 at Discover Life Church 3550 W. Eau Gallie Blvd. Melbourne, FL 32934. The viewing will be held from 12:00 to the time of the service.
