James was a member of Skokie Valley Baptist Church, Wilmette, IL, for 15 years, where he held various positions serving the Lord. James and Andrea moved to Northeastern Florida in December 2005. After a short time back in Illinois, James returned to Florida with wife, Kathy, in 2015.
James’ faith and family were very important to him. He particularly loved leading others to Christ. As an avid history buff, James enjoyed traveling to all areas of the United States, particularly visiting different battleground sites. He also was a fabulous cook, following in his mothers’ footsteps. James was known for his “Dad jokes”, infectious smile, and giving the best bear hugs.
James was preceded in death by his parents and first wife.
