James proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and went on to a career as a manager with the United States Postal Service. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Gator Football Fan. In his leisure time James enjoyed playing pool, shooting Darts and playing Rummy and Spades. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
James is survived by his son Jaxson Sheppard, his mother Darlene Sheppard, his sister Jackie Greene and her husband Jim and his nieces Maya and Hannah Greene, his brother Christopher Sheppard and his wife Deborah, his nephew William Sheppard and niece Emily Sheppard.
A visitation for James will be held Friday, October 16, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A celebration of life service will begin Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 12:30 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
