Darlene Ann Sheppard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother Darlene “Minnie” Ann Sheppard who passed away peacefully at her home in Melbourne, Florida on January 15th 2024 at the age of 77. She was very loved and will be missed terribly.

Darlene was born 1946 in Camden New Jersey and spent her life dedicated to her family, friends, church, and community. She loved nothing more than spending times with her children and five dear grandchildren who loved her deeply and affectionately called her “Nanners/Granners.” She was a long-time active parishioner of Ascension Catholic Church but above all, relished in her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Darlene is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years John G Sheppard USMC Retired as well as her son Jimmie Sheppard.

Darlene is survived by her Daughter, Jackie Greene and her husband Jim, her son, Christopher and his wife Debbie, as well as her five grandchildren, Maya Greene, Jaxson Sheppard, Hannah Greene, Emily Sheppard, and William Sheppard. She is also survived by her brother-in-law James Sheppard.

Darlene’s Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 24th from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Fountainhead Funeral Home 7359 Babcock Street SE Palm Bay, Fl 32909

Her Funeral Service and Mass will be held on Thursday January 25th from 11:00am-12:00pm at Ascension Catholic Church 2950 N. Harbor City Blvd Melbourne, FL 32935.
