Dr. Nick founded American Biodyne, an outpatient mental health program staffed by PhD psychologists who practiced short term , intermittent therapy. I worked in Indiana as an admin staffer. Nick was fascinating, funny and motivational. My condolences to his family.

A legendary psychologist who was professionally influential to me as well as many of my psychologist colleagues. I worked with Nick at Biodyne as well as some later points. He was a model iconoclast.

Every so often I called Nick at his home in Reno and be both laughed a lot during the calls.  He was a tremendous influence for me.  I am a better person for having known Dr. Nicholas Cummings and I will miss him dearly.
