Bill and I met in the Navy; 2 Georgia boys in the land of milk and honey (Puerto Rico). That was 55 years ago, and we've been fast friends ever since. Coincidentally, we both moved to New York, and I was witness to his and Sharon's first meeting and a proud member of their wedding party. We've had many a good time since, up and down the Eastern Seaboard. Sorry I missed seeing my old pal on the west coast! Fair winds and following seas, buddy...

I cannot explain to Bill's "Beautiful Family" how hurt I am for them as well as myself.  Bill and his family were my friends since he, Sharon and I ,were in our early 20's,  We laughed and cried and loved and formed a lasting friendship till this day.  I will love Bill's family Forever just as he would want me to.  I grieve with them and "my heart is truly broken".  He was a gentleman first, kind to everyone, sincere and sometimes "goofy-funny" which we all Loved.  I will miss him until I one day "See Him Again"   Anti Mare

Bill was an angel among us a soul that showed the highest form of unconditional compassion and love for his fellow man.  I can only hope to honor him everyday of the rest of my life for he is one person that took nothing for granted, showed appreciation for even the smallest of beauty and kindness and I can only feel sad for a world without him.
