Donald D. Wood

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:30 p.m. on Sunday at Faith Christian Center with funeral services immediately following at 3:30. Rev. Josh Sims will be officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Wood was born April 17, 1936 in Warrington, Alabama the youngest of 9 children, and lived the early years of his life there. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1956 and retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserves in 1996. Mr.Wood has been a resident of Ozark for the past 8 years.

Mr. Wood is preceded in death by his first wife, Glynda Wood.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Wood of Ozark; his children, Rene Groover of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Thomas Wood, William Eddie Adkins, Christopher Adkins and Timothy Adkins, all of Ozark; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
