Today you were laid to rest. I still can't believe that this has happened. I can't wrap my head around it. You were so kind hearted, full of life, vibrant and funny!!! The amount of people that showed up to show your family support was such an overwhelming testament of how much of an amazing person you were. You touched so many people from so many walks of life and different age groups. We will all miss you SO much. The void will never be filled but you are in a better place. I know you are a guardian angel for your children and family along with your mom. I consider myself blessed to have had you in my life. You will continue to live on through your 2 amazing children and the memories you have given us. I know the group of doves that flew over your house after the services were you and it was such a beautiful thing to have witnessed. We love you Kaliz. Rest In Paradise.

I have so many great/old/funny memories of you Calis. It had been years since we last spoke. I wish we had spoken. Time slipped away from us. And I am truly sorry about that my old friend. Thank you for all our high school memories together. Memories of getting ready for school. And all of us packing in the Camaro to get to school. Coming over and putting your makeup on and doing your hair. Hanging around the neighborhood together just being kids/teens. Going for runs with saran wrap around our stomachs cause we were trying to slim down the pansa. Lol! I could go on but I will cherish these memories until we meet again. Rest easy my friend. See you when I get there! <3

Nina, I miss you!!!  I will forever hold you near my heart. Thank you for being you, thank you for all the smiles all the hugs... I love you with every inch of my heart. My heart aches knowing you are not here physically anymore, to hug you to talk to you, to get advice from you, or just to see you and know in my heart that you love me. It's amazing to look at someone and know you are important to them, that you matter to them. That's exactly how you made me feel, every time I saw you. I am so thankful I got a change to remind you on how special you were to me, on how much I adored you and how proud I was to call you my nina. You were such a strong woman that always gave a smile even though at times you carried your own pain, you gave those you loved a smile a beautiful, beautiful smile, and that smile is what I will always remember of you. In my book you were, you are and always will be extremely special.  I LOVE YOU WITH EVERY, EVERY INCH OF MY SOUL. From the very beginning, you, Desi and Eric, greeted me and the kids with a smile, an open heart, and you always treated us like family.  I will miss your kind-hearted free spirit and your hysterical sense of humor.  Your beauty and loyalty were unsurpassed, and that you blazed your own path was truly a testament to your strength and courage. You leave a profound void in our hearts and will be deeply missed.
