Richard D. Evans

Richard D. Evans, age 79, of Oviedo, Florida passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. Richard was born to Margaret Welsh and Clarence Evans on May 10, 1944. He grew up in Youngstown, Ohio with 2 sisters, Carol and Linda and 3 brothers, Bob, Tom and Myron. After high school, he joined the Navy and served until 1968. He was married that same year and became a father for the first time in 1975 and a second time in 1977. Richard was proud of his time in the service but he was most proud of being a son, brother, uncle, husband, father and finally a grandfather. Richard is survived by his sister, Carol Martin; his wife, Margo Evans; his daughter, Kim Walsh; his daughter, Jennifer Evans and his grandchildren, Cameron, Noah and Sadie.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 501 E MITCHELL HAMMOCK RD, OVIEDO, FL 32765.

Following the memorial service will be a committal service where he will be placed from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 HARRELL RD, ORLANDO, FL 32817.

The service will be followed by a celebration of life luncheon at 1:30 PM at Tibby's New Orleans Kitchen; 2203 Aloma Ave, Winter Park, Fl 32792
