Mary Hurst Caponi

Mary Hurst Caponi, age 86 of Oviedo, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017. She was born March 18, 1930 in Jacksonville, Florida. Her parents were Leon and Bernice Hurst. She was married to the love of her life Elso R. Caponi Sr. in 1962. She earned her Masters of Education from UCF and eventually was the Dean of the Business Dept at Lake Sumter Community College for many years. She is survived by her sons, Elso R. Caponi, Jr. & Kirk Cossairt, 3 grandchildren, Elso III, Michelle and Christopher, her brother Marvin and her sister Delsie. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1 PM, Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Oviedo Chapel. Inurnment will be at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
