Martha Anne Moon Lee

Martha Anne Moon Lee, age 86, of Clarksville, died Tuesday, August 19, 2014. She was born in Hiram, GA, to the late Grover Moon and Nellie Clonts Moon. Martha was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lee; and two brothers, Thomas and Reese Moon. Loving wife and mother, Mrs. Lee was an active member of First Presbyterian Church, where she taught pre-school for six years. Martha was a member of the Morning Circle Women of the Church, and she taught Sunday School with her husband, Charles for many years. She was also an avid gardener and member of the Clarksville Garden Club. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 21, at 5:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Pastor Greg Glover officiating. Burial will take place on Saturday, August 23, at Oviedo Cemetery, in Oviedo, FL. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 3:00PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. Martha is survived by three daughters, Sharon (Robert) Wingo, of Goodlettsville, TN, Claire (Ed) Overmyer, of Ooltewah, TN; and Elaine (Tim) Elder, of Dayton, TN; sister, Mary Velora Pair, of Snellville, GA; three grandsons, Wes, Lee, and Dan Wingo; and one great grandson, Welles Wingo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 213 Main Street, Clarksville, TN 37040. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 2-3 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Oviedo Chapel with a Funeral Service beginning at 3 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oviedo Cemetery.
