Every once in a while, we meet someone special. When I first met Jen 3 years ago, I instantly knew she was special. Her tongue-in-cheek humor was a great finishing touch to the heart she wore on her sleeve. She was a proud, beaming mother and wife-- and to this day one of the most beautiful souls I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She always did what she felt was right, at any cost.  She lived her life to help others and make them happy. Her overflowing generosity was only outweighed by her striking inner and outer beauty. Sweet Jen, I know your spirit will be with your husband and children. But I sure hope I'm worthy of a spiritual hug from you now and then. God bless you. You'll always be heaven's most beautiful angel in my eyes.

So deeply sorry for your loss. Jennifer was a beautiful soul inside and out. I first met her at my son's birthday party and knew immediately that she was genuinely good person and one amazing mother. I cannot imagine the pain that your family is going through. I am praying that God gives you the strength and courage needed to help you through this difficult time.

Jen and I lost touch many years ago, but her friendship has always been one I cherished.  She was undoubtedly the nicest, sweetest person I have ever met and all the comments I have read here prove that these were qualities that Jen had at her core.  Her letters to me while I was away in the service helped me through some of the most trying times a person can have.  To her family and friends that I have never had the pleasure to meet, I offer my heartfelt condolences and hope that her light will continue to shine deep within your own hearts

From the very first time I stepped onto the practice field with the Huskies and my son Kenneth V "Mini Marshawn" you always were so kind. We shared brief conversations and I would always walk about with a smile. I know you're resting with our Lord and you're angel watching over your husband and family. I ask God to give them  strength during these times and days and years to come. Mrs. Jen I thank God for your life and love and your smile. Rest in heaven until we meet again.

Jennifer, you were such a good friend and we had some wonderful times together at the Baker office.  I will always remember how much fun you made coming to work everyday for me.  We had some great laughs!  I miss our talks and the daily teasing and joking we did.  You were the type of friend who would do anything for you. Jennifer was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. We had known each other for just a brief time, but she was so welcoming and alot of fun to be around. Jenn was such a kind and loving friend, a great mom and loving wife.  She will be so missed by all that knew her.  It was always fun to see her at get togethers with our friends and she always captured the best moments reminding us of what is important in life.  Mark, we are so sorry for your loss and will always keep you and your children in our thoughts and prayers.

We are so sorry to hear that Jenn had passed. My family has known her and her family for almost 20years. To her husband Mark and children markie and kaia your mother loved you very much and although I know it's hard but always know she is now with you and always will be with you in spirit. There was no black or white, rich or poor, with Jen just genuine transparent love.  It only a few seconds of her presence one would be filled with joy and laughter.  I still can't believe she forced me out MY shell to become a Team Mom.  Only a,  person with Jen's sincerity and charisma could have done that.

To know Jen was to love her.  I don't know if I've ever met anyone so selfless and giving.  She loved her kids-and her family more than anything else.  We spent countless seasons watching our boys play various sports and I know there was nothing that she LOVED more.  Jen, thank you for loving my boy like he was your own-for all of the photos you took over the years (otherwise I wouldn't have one of him playing), for taking care of him at practice when I wasn't there, and encouraging him like his last name was Harmon...Jen you will be so missed!  To all of Jen's family, we are praying for your comfort and peace.  Please know we are always here for you.

Words can not express the heartfelt sorrow that we feel for the passing of Jen. She was such a kind, caring beautiful person. I'm going to miss seeing that beautiful smile at school where she was always helping or having lunch with Marky and her yelling Marky!!! When it was time for him to go home.

Jen was loved by so many. She made everyone feel loved and important with her amazing smile and thoughtful words. So thankful she took on the hard job of a pop warner team mom so that our paths would cross. Each team of players and coaches knew they could count on Jen for anything. Not sure how I won't tear up each time I see an Escalde like hers go by and look for that quick wave, or a text or phone call with a "thx girl" and especially looking at the sideline and not seeing Jen pouring water in her players mouths and down their backs like they loved.  Three years of knowing Jen just wasn't enough time for me to have with Jen but it will last a lifetime in my heart. Jen, I will cheer loudest for Markie from the stands because I know you would do the same for me. Missing you!
