Eldred “E.P.” Pierce Bruce, Jr., age 72 of Oviedo, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018. He was born July 5, 1946, in LaGrange, Georgia. E.P was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and enjoyed hunting in Florida and Wyoming. He spent his career as a celery farmer and building contractor in Oviedo after serving as a Captain in the U.S. Army. E.P. was a member of the Oviedo City Council and The Oviedo Historical Society. He is survived by his wife, Mimi; daughters, Shelly Piper (Sean) and Marty Wilson (Chris); five grandchildren, Rowan, Audrey, James, Graham and Henry. He is preceded in death by his sister, Martha Ann Irick and his parents, Pierce and Merle Bruce. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Friday, August 3, 2018, from 6-8 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Oviedo Chapel. A Committal Service will be held 10 AM Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Oviedo Cemetery.
