moved to Florida and he was always surrounded by an abundance of love.
Ed raised his family with love, kindness and a strong work ethic and
always set a good example. After Ed and Joyce retired, they traveled
extensively, becoming world travelers. Their favorite means of travel was
by cruise ship, and by now they have easily traveled most of the world and
have been on over 40 cruises! One of Ed’s favorite places to travel was
Scandinavia and he even traveled to China and walked on the Great Wall
well into his 80’s!

charities every year and to anyone who was in need when he was
fortunate enough to help. He was very active in his Church on Long Island
serving as Senior Warden and was awarded the Bishop’s Cross. Ed was
very active throughout his entire life. He played baseball, and one of his
dreams was to be a major league pitcher. He loved to bowl, and was a
member of the same bowling league for many years. Edward was an avid
swimmer and a Rosen YMCA member. There was rarely a week that went
by where he wouldn’t enjoy the water, either at the beach or at the pool!
He also enjoyed going to the movies, the theater or just reading a good
book. Nothing made him happier than being with loved ones and being
able to watch his family grow. His determination, compassion and
benevolence have touched all who have met him. Edward spread kindness
wherever he went, and has left this world a better place.
