David L. Ruppel

David L. Ruppel, 69, of Oviedo, Florida passed away on January 20, 2020. He was born in Columbus, Indiana on April 28, 1950 to the late David and Mildred (Dietrich) Ruppel. David graduated from Long Island Lutheran and received his Masters from University of Akron. He was married to Cynthia (Prok) Ruppel on September 21, 1974. David had a career in Education for a number of high schools and universities. He had a passion for music, Disney visits and family. He was also survived by his son, Gregory Ruppel and daughter-in-law, Sarah S. Ruppel; sisters, Carolyn d’Avis and Betty (Rev. Bret Reedy) Reedy and grandson, Gabriel David Ruppel. A visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home-Oviedo Chapel, 501 E. Mitchell Hammock Road, Oviedo, FL 32765 and from 10-11am, Friday, January 24, 2020 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 2021 W. State Road 426, Oviedo, FL with a service at 11 am.
