Lucile B. Hoge, 100, passed away May 20, 2012, at The Atriums, Overland Park, Kan. She was born Sept. 4, 1911, in Gentry County, Mo., to James A. and Julia Phillips Bogue. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at McGilley & Hoge Funeral Home, 8024 Santa Fe Dr., Overland Park. She was preceded in death by husbands, William (Bud) Foster, J. Royce Hoge and son, William (Bill) Foster. She is survived by two sons, James Foster and wife Sandra of Olathe, Kan., and Jerry Foster and wife Barbara of Tucson, Ariz., six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Lucile was a cosmetologist and assisted her husband Royce at Hoge Funeral Home. She lived in Overland Park for over 85 years. She was a member of La Sertoma Club of Johnson County and Women's Auxiliary of the Dwight Cowles American Legion Post. Lucile was a loving, caring person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family wishes to thank Beth Horner, Tom Hoge, Lucille Tutera and staff at The Atriums, and Continua Hospice for their dedicated care and attention. Private burial services will be held at Antioch Cemetery.
