Joanne E Miller

Joanne E. Miller, 82, Overland Park, KS, passed away March 20, 2010, at Villa St. Francis. Our mother was married to our father, Gordon, for 60 years. He preceded her in death. Our mother was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She loved her family unconditionally. She enjoyed sewing, interior design, traveling and spending time at their vacation home at the Lake of the Ozarks. She was employed by Macy's as a sales associate until she retired.

She was born in Middletown, Ohio, one of eleven children of John and Flora Mulholland. She is survived by her son Greg and his wife Theresa; three daughters, Nancy, Janice and husband Dennis, Lois and husband Greg; and eleven grandchildren, Stephanie, Jennifer, Lauren, Shane, Christina, Ryan, Natalie, Jordan, Allie, Alex and Evan; three great- grandchildren, Morgan, Madison and Avery.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2010, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS with the rosary being prayed at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 26, 2010, at Cure of Ars Catholic Church, 9401 Mission Road, Leawood, KS. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS.
