Cynthia was born in Hiawatha, Kansas on September 9, 1954 to Earl Joseph and Lavonne (Bauman) Hartter. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother (Grana). She worked many different jobs in her lifetime including Cosmetology, CDL Truck Driver, School Bus Driver and Retail Clerk. She was a force to be reckoned with. Most of the time it was her way or the highway. You couldn't slow her down, only try to keep up, even when she fought and beat cancer 6 different times. In the end her body couldn't even keep up. Cynthia fought hard all her life and now is finally able to dance the night away.
She is preceded in death by her father, Earl Hartter.
She is survived by her mother LaVonne Hartter of Lenexa, Kansas; husband, Thomas Michael Vermilye of Eudora, Kansas and their only son, Matthew John Vermilye and his wife, Stephanie R. Vermilye of Tonganoxie, Kansas. She left behind three grandchildren, Ryan Richeson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Daniel Vermilye and Paige Vermilye of Tonganoxie, Kansas. She is also survived by one brother, Mark Hartter and his wife, Wanda; two sisters, Deanna Franco and her husband, Wayne and Suzanne Banks and her husband, Doug; and sister-in-law, Janice Hummell.
