Christopher Mike Smith, 41, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away December 14, 2024 at home from natural causes. A visitation will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at McGilley & Hoge Johnson County Memorial Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, Kansas 66204. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 3:00 PM at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, 9501 W. 159th Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66221.
Christopher was born June 9, 1983 in Mexico, MO. He loved spending time outdoors, golfing, fishing, camping, canoeing, and exploring new places. He was passionate about cars and graduated from Johnson County Community College with a degree in Automotive Technology. He was employed selling and repairing remote control vehicles. He enjoyed racing RC cars and was a member of Kansas City Remote Bashers.
He is survived by his parents, Mike and Pamela Smith, his sister and brother-in-law Angela Weil and Michael Weil, his niece Lydia Weil, his nephew Aaron Weil, his sister and brother-in-law Rebecca Smith and Fred Hund, and his nephew Thomas Hund.
