Dear Colin and Mark, 
I was so sorry to happen by chance two days ago on this obituary notice for Sylvia. I remember lovely times with my dear sister-in-law, being her bridesmaid, staying with her and my brother, Colin, in St Albans, meeting them again at our parents in Grimsby, with their 3 year old Mark, and so many times on their visits to us in Australia.

I will remember Sylvia with much love and happy memories. Rest In Peace ,

Dear Colin,

I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs Proudman (I may be 51 now but still feel the child she knew me as!).

Endless childhood memories of wonderful times with your family still enter my head from time to time.  You both went on to continue with a life of adventure; a lesson to us all!

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Sylvia ... she was a lovely kind warm person. Bob and I spent many times with Sylvia and Colin on their many different sail boats. We also enjoyed their hospitality over many years ... she will be missed and we will keep her in our thoughts and remember our good times together.
