Passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8th 2011 surrounded by her loving brothers Gerious (Nadia) and Massad (Haifa) Gharib. She will be missed by her nephews Elie (Liliane Zoughaib), Nicolas, Michel, Robbie, Elias, Roy Gharib and her nieces Roula (Elias Freije), Diana (Jean-Eric Sink), Rita (Christian Forides) and Nahida Gharib. She is survived by her sisters Zoha, Namoura and Rose Gharib. She will be sadly missed by her many cousins and friends of the Gharib, Skaff, Haddad, Kehde and Parsalis families. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Saturday, April 9th, 2011 from 7-9 pm and Sunday, April 10th, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday April 11th, 2011 at 11am in St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive, Ottawa.
