They were married in Toronto in 1959 and made Moncton, New Brunswick home, where he embarked on a long, rewarding career in Air Traffic Control. In 1973, career advancement took the family to Ottawa, where he spent the rest of his life.
Robert was a gentle man of many interests and talents; Air Traffic Controller 1959-1999, private pilot, salmon fisherman (Miramichi River), electrical wiz, musician, wood carver and passionate life-long sailor.
