Peacefully at Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre surrounded by his 2 sisters and family on September 17, 2011 at the age of 80. Son of the late Albert Lauzon and the late Maria Guertin. Cherished father of Brian (Jan) and Kimberly (Mike). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Stephanie, Melanie and by his great granddaughter McKenzie. Dear brother of Cécile Chénier and Yolande Lauzon-McDougal (Bruce). He will be greatly missed by many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by 3 brothers Roland, Maurice, Jean-Guy and by 2 sisters Anita and Irene. Raymond was a 2001 Inductee to the Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall of Fame. Sincere thanks to the nursing staff at the Palliative Care of Elisabeth Bruyere of the 5th Floor North East for their good care. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 24, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Chapel 180, Montreal Rd., Ottawa 613-241-3680.
