Patrick Malloy

Passed peacefully in the company of family early in the morning on the 15th of April. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Donna (Burke) of 39 years, three loving sons Sean (Brigitte Montsion), Jonathan (Melissa Smeltzer) and Michael. Pat was also an adored Papa to three beautiful granddaughters, Cordelia, Rebecca and Eleanor who will miss him dearly. Survived by stepmother Armanda Malloy (Sabourin) and his Aunt Rita. Oldest brother to Garry (Anna), Bruce (Christine), Gordon (Louise), Thomas (Margaret), Louise, and Danny. Predeceased by his father Thomas Malloy. Also leaving behind many in-laws, nieces and nephews as well as many friends, especially Denis and Brenda Dinelle. Special thanks to Doctor Louis O’Connell, the nurses from the CCAC and the staff of the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Program. Visitation to be held Thursday, April 19th at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Friday, April 20th, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Visitation Church, 5338 Bank Street with reception to follow at church hall. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to the Community Care Access Centre (CCAC), the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Program, General Campus or Our Lady of Visitation Hall.
