Nawal fell asleep in the Lord’s peace, surrounded by her sisters, on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at the age of 74. Beloved sister of Amal (Ghassan Nasrallah), Maria (the late Raymond Khouri), Hind (Nayef Kaazan) and Wafaa (Issa Saab). Predeceased by her sister Najla (the late Mike Nasrallah). She will be dearly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends in both Canada and Lebanon. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Tuesday, March 26 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Wednesday, March 27 at 1 p.m. in St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral. Interment Beechwood Cemetery. In memoriam donations to St. Elias Cathedral or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
