Peacefully with his family by his side, at the Ottawa General Hospital on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the age of 79 years. Predeceased by his parents Elias Esber and Mariam Nasrallah. Beloved husband of the late Najla. Loving father of Marie (Hanna Kazan) and Carol (Pierre Baliki). Dear grandfather of Michel, Robert and Matthew. Survived by his siblings Nadwa (late Elias Moussa Nassrallah), Daher (Nadir) Badourah (George Ayoub) and predeceased by Afifi (late Joseph Jamal) and Afif (Nazek). He will be fondly remembered by his extended family in Canada and Lebanon. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service on Friday at 11 am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Dr (at Ridgewood Ave). Interment Beechwood Cemetery.
