Daughter of the late John Power and the late Lila Lavelle. She leaves in sorrow her beloved husband of 51 years Leonard McCool, her loving children Leonard (Wendy), Roy (Lucinda), Loretto (Chris) and Helen (Topher). Cherished grandmother of Dylan, Zachary and Sean. She also leaves seven siblings, many nephews, nieces, in-laws and friends. She was predeceased by four siblings. The family would like to thank Dr. Leonard Bloom and the staff at May Court Hospice for the good care provided. Family and friends may pay their respect on Sunday June 14, 2015 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Rd, Ottawa). A Funeral will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Annunciation of the Lord Church (2414 Ogilvie Road, Ottawa). In Memory of Mrs. McCool, donations to the Catholic Christian Outreach, the NET Ministries of Canada Inc. or the Shepherds of Good Hope would be appreciated.
