Just saw the obituary today. My condolences Ed, Dan, Ron, and Jason. Both your dad and mom were a big part of my upbringing, too. I think of them often, sorry for your loss. 

My sympathies to the Lemaire family,  Luella will be fondly missed. She was a great lady,  kind and generous to a fault. May her angles take good care of her.

We have just received the sad news. We lived on Billings Avenue adjacent to the Lemaire property on Frost Avenue from 1976 to 1984. We remember sharing many good times together when the boys were growing up. Another chapter has closed, but others will open in the future. 

So sorry for your loss.

I had the pleasure of knowing Luella for a little more than a year. She was engaging, interested in others and had a sense of fun. She loved to talk about her family, and was proud of their achievements.

I was unable to attend her memorial, but please know that she will be missed by my mother, Joan, her tablemates and friends at the Glebe Centre.

Dear Ron, Dan and the entire Lemaire family,

We are very sorry to learn of Luella's passing and offer our sincere condolences.  She was a lovely lady.  We have a fond memory of a day spent at your cottages many years ago when the kids were small.  Luella and George were so gracious and included my parents (Tom and Maureen) who were visiting from NB at that time.  The kids ran around, swam and boated and the adults made wonderful connections.  It's a day that stands out - great weather, great friends and a warm welcome, especially from Luella.  

Our thoughts are with all of you at this sad time.
