Passed away on April 25, 2012 at the age of 80. Daughter of the late Vitorino do Couto and the late Maria Filomena do Couto (Medeiros). Beloved wife of Arthur Alberto, loving mother of Nelson (Gilberta) and Wally (Lisa), cherished grandmother of Jason and Ashley, she also leaves her niece (like daughter) Grace and her daughter Sarah. She was predeceased by her brothers José do Couto, Vitorino do Couto, Joaõ do Couto, her sisters Clementina do Couto and Maria de Lourdes do Couto. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday April 30, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Rd, Ottawa). A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday May 1, 2012 at Senhor Santo Cristo Church (1100 Kenaston, Ottawa) at 11 a.m. In Memory of Mrs. Alberto, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
