Passed away on April 11, 2017 at the age of 96. Daughter of the late Edgar Lafontaine and the late Alma Joanisse and the beloved wife of the late Fernand Paquette. Loving mother of Denise (Gerry), Michel, Francine and Carole. She also leaves in sorrow eleven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, her sister Anita and her brother Raynold (Rita), as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. She was also predeceased by her son Maurice (Mary), her daughter Lise and her brothers and sisters Georgette, Rollande, André and Jacques. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday April 21, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home Chapel (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa).
