It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean on November 3, 2016 at the age of 92. She was born October 5, 1924 and was predeceased by her husband Leonard Trudel in November 2012. She was a devoted mother to David (Vi), Peter (Wendy) and Kathy. Cherished grandmother to Adam (Jessica), Missy, Nancy (Richard) and Julie (Sebastian). She also adored her great grandchildren, Ayden and Carson. Jean, was a great cook, grew up in Ottawa, attended Lisgar High School and was the youngest of 9 siblings (predeceased). Visitation will be held at McEvoy- Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road), on Monday, November 7th at 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Her kindness and generosity will be forever in our hearts. May she rest in peace. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
