Elle était la fille de feu Gilbert Demers et de feu Catherine Lahey. Elle était l’épouse en premières noces de feu Ubald DesRosiers (56 ans) et en deuxième noces de feu Florian Grand-Maitre (7 ans). Elle laisse dans le deuil ses chers enfants Pierre André, Langley, C.B, Françoise Racine et Lyse Cousineau d’Ottawa, 6 petits-enfants; Yvan, Nathalie et Martin Racine, Brigitte Lacombe, Marc et Anne DesRosiers, 6 arrière-petits-enfants ; Maleeka, Vanessa, Patrick, Mathieu, Jordan et Breanne ainsi que son arrière-arrière-petite-fille Keyanna. Elle laisse également les enfants de son époux Florian, Monique (Rick Seeley), Gilles, ses deux petits-enfants; David et Nathalie de même que ses arrière-petit-fils, Seth et Raidyn. Elle laisse aussi son frère Gérard « Butch » (feu Réjeanne Farley), ainsi que de nombreux neveux, nièces et amis(es) qu’elle estimait beaucoup. Elle fut prédécédée par son arrière-petit-fils Joshua, son frère Rodolphe (feu Margaret Burns), ses soeurs Rita Pitre (feu Lucien), Thérèse Ouellette (feu Jacques) et Lucille Pelletier (feu Jean-Louis). Il y aura des visites à la Maison Funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier le mardi 16 juin 2020 sur invitation seulement. Un service funéraire privé sera célébré en la chapelle de la Maison Funéraire le mercredi 17 juin 2020 à 18h30. Passed away on June 8 2020 at the age of 98. Daughter of the late Gilbert Demers and the late Catherine Lahey. She was the widow of her first husband (56 years), Ubald DesRosiers and of her second husband (7 years), Florian Grand-Maitre. Beloved mother of Pierre André, Langley, C.B, Françoise Racine and Lyse Cousineau from Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of Yvan, Nathalie, Martin Racine, Brigitte Lacombe, Marc and Anne DesRosiers. Great grandmother of Maleeka, Vanessa, Patrick, Mathieu, late Joshua, Jordan and Breanne and great great great grandmother of Keyanna. She leaves Florian’s children Monique (Rick Seeley), Gilles, his grandchildren, David and Nathalie, and his great grandsons Seth and Raidyn. She also leaves her brother, Gérard “Butch” (late Réjeanne Farley), as well as many well-loved nieces, nephews and dear friends that she loved. Predeceased by her brother Rodolphe (late Margaret Burns), her sisters Rita Pitre (late Lucien), Thérèse Ouellette (late Jacques) and Lucille Pelletier (late Jean-Louis). There will be visit by invitation only at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home on Tuesday June 16, 2020.
