It is with great sadness that we share the peaceful passing of our loving father, Eugene Monette, on July 23, 2024.
He was the beloved husband of the late Helen and dear father to Paul, Debbie (Marc), Peter and Patrick. He was also the loving grandfather of Jessica (Matt), Steven (Kelly), Keith, Dimitri and Yianni and great-grandfather of Zoé, Skye and soon-to-be baby boy.
We extend our thanks and gratitude to the compassionate medical team in unit A3 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital.
Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON. on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 10 am to 11 am followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in Eugene's memory would be greatly appreciated.
