So sorry for your loss Brendan. What a beautiful elegant caring lady.  She was ahead of the times, the first woman she knows of to venture up the local Fiddamore mountain wearing trousers (Uncle Joes Sunday pants). Till her final days she always had great interest in everyone, asking for their well being on every chat we had. 

She was immensely proud of her Irish roots and I think the best part of her last visit was sitting by the kitchen fire in Knockbreague looking out at the statue of Our Lady.

My Mothet, Dory and I sang together in the Resurrecton (funeral) choir, led by Helen Sutherland. We visited with Elizabeth so often at the receptions. She was lovely. She had the most angelic smile.  Dory and I will attend Elizabeth’s funeral through technology from afar. We send our prayers and sympathy. Elizabeth will be missed by so many.  We wish Brendan and family strength and safety at this time. 

As pastor of St. Basil's Parish, I want to offer our heart-felt sympathies to Brendan and all who loved and will miss Elizabeth.  We have been praying for her every Sunday at our celebrations of the Eucharist for many, many months.  May she now pray for all of us.  I only met her twice when she was at the Duke of Devonshire Residence but was able to sense her peacefulness and deep faith.   May she now be experiencing even more fully the peace and light of Christ. 

Elizabeth was a truly gracious lady who always had a kind word for everyone. I remember,  with pleasure, going with Elizabeth on many outings with mutual friends - breakfast after mass at St Basil's, dinner and performances  at Centrepointe Theatre,  or heading out to see a movie. I was also blessed to have her as my neighbour for many years. I will always remember her lovely smile. My sincere condolences to Brendan and all her family.

God bless sweet cousin Elizabeth -Grandpa Gallagher’s favorite niece.  I loved and admired Elizabeth when she visited Cleveland.  I especially remember when she and Roland attended my Aunt Eileen and Uncle Dan Chamber’s wedding - Roland graciously danced with all of us.  Rest In Peace dear.
