Elias Abou Malhab

Peacefully in hospital on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the age of 93 years.

Beloved husband of the late Marie Kamal. Loving father of Amal (late John Kouri), Adele (Harry Haddad), Affaf (Charlie Aboukheir), John (Olga Yaacoub), Najah (Kamil Zeidan), Sabah (Homer Haddad), George (Rita Chidiac), Joseph (Carla Maroun Bounader). Much loved brother of Melhem Abou-Malhab of Lebanon.

He will be dearly missed by his many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who he loved so very much. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, January 7, 2019, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home and Chapel, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11:00 am at Saint Charbel Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald St. Interment Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank St. Ottawa. Thanks to the nurses and doctors at the Ottawa Civic Heart Institute 3rd floor for their gentle care. Donations to St. Charbel Church or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
