Walter T. Hart, of Ossian, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2010. He was born on October 27, 1933 to the late William L. and Anna (Johnstone) Hart in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada. He worked as a custodian in the Port Huron, MI public schools for 24 years. He was a member at Ossian Nazarene Church and enjoyed people and helping others when there was a need. Surviving family include his wife, Dorothy N. (Cabic) Hart of Ossian; children, Christopher, Robert, and Walter Randall Hart all of Canada, Katherine Frostic and Donald Hart of Michigan; step-children, Linda (Paul) Kano of Washington, David (Sharon) Burrow of Virginia, Phyllis (John) Hermann of Hoagland, IN; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday October 28, 2010 at the Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian. Calling hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8 on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ossian. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
