Passed away peacefully at Prince Edward County Memorial, Picton on Saturday, August 20th, 2011 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marion (2003), and by his son Allyn (1983), and grandson Cary Michael. Loving father of Darlene Owen, Diane Kirby (Doug) and Ted (Christine) and Asa. Dear brother of Garfield McKnight and survived by sister-in-law Eleanor. Predeceased by brothers Wes, Raymond, Clifford, Fred and Cecil. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Craig (Kim), Mark (Diana), Kevin (Andrea), Maureen (Colin), Johnathon (Alex), Matthew (Emily) and by his great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Kali, Cassidy and Brayden. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St. W. Oshawa (905-721-1234) on Monday, August 22 from 7 – 9 P.M. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, August 23 at 1:00 P.M. Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery. Donations to Camp Trillium would be appreciated.
